Kaylee Arnold (M.S.) will be starting a Ph.D. program at the University of Georgia next fall as part of a NSF-IGERT program in disease Ecology.
Rebecca Flournoy (B.S.) was chosen for the 2016 Environmental Steward position at Jean Lafitte National Park focusing on invasive species management. She plans to take the GRE this summer and apply to Masters programs.
Mallory Kiefer (B.S.) is already at La Selva Biological Station in Costa Rica, assisting Ph.D. candidate Peter Tellez in his work on bromeliad fungal endophytes. Mallory will remain with the Van Bael lab for one more year and earn her masters degree in the 4+1 program.
Ivana Levy (B.S.) is planning to go to veterinary school. This summer she is working as a Vet Technician at the Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital in Metairie.
Lina Tran (B.S.) was hired by NASA as a science communication writer in their solar physics division, in Washington DC.
Keiana Cave (High school graduate) is continuing her research with the Van Bael lab as an NSF REU participant in Panama for June! After that she will move to Michigan to join the engineering department at the University of Michigan. She earned a full ride!
